Gratitude

Expressing gratitude is pleasing to God, and true worship includes thanking him. We should give thanks to the Lord for all things.

Here are some scripture references about gratitude:

He who receives all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious: D&C 78:19

When thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God: Alma 37:37

Cease not to give thanks: Eph. 1:15-16

In everything give thanks: D&C 98:1 ( 1 Thes. 5:18 )

Ye should do all things with prayer and thanksgiving: D&C 46:7
